Softball Recap: Central of Clay County Takes a Loss

Central of Clay County lost against Benjamin Russell back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Volunteers took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Central of Clay County's defeat dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Benjamin Russell, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-21-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central of Clay County will head out to challenge Woodland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Volunteers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Benjamin Russell, they are taking a road trip to face off against Handley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
