Volleyball Recap: Marfa Comes Up Short

Marfa lost against Van Horn back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Shorthorns fell 3-1 to the Eagles. While the Shorthorns didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-20 in the first set.

Marfa started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-10, 25-15, 25-18.

Marfa's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Van Horn, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

Marfa has already played their next contest (against McCamey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Van Horn, they will face off against Buena Vista at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
