            Softball Recap: Tipton Cardinals vs. Sweet Springs Greyhounds        
        
		
        
        
            Tipton was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They came up short against  the Sweet Springs Greyhounds, falling  11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  14-0  back in March.
  Myra Haas was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with one  home run. That  home run was  her first of the season.
Tipton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Sweet Springs,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 17-7.
 Looking ahead, Tipton will challenge Warsaw at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 0.8  runs per game  this season, so the Cardinals' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Sweet Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
