Jesup came tearing into Tuesday's game with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Wapsie Valley Warriors 42-28. Given the J-Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Warriors are ranked 221st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jesup pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Wapsie Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.
