The Parkview Vikings are taking a road trip to take on the Williams Bay Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Parkview put up the most runs they have all season on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 22-7 margin over Randolph. Considering the Vikings' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Kathryn Klassy was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs and three RBI. Emma Woodman also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

In other batting news, Williams Bay got a massive performance out of Bayleigh Kozak, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most RBI Kozak has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Rori Hayes, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.

Williams Bay picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-10. As for Parkview, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

Parkview suffered a grim 19-6 defeat to Williams Bay in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
