Basketball Game Preview: Oak Hill Raiders vs. Spruce Mountain Phoenix

Oak Hill is 0-9 against Spruce Mountain since January of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Oak Hill Raiders will host the Spruce Mountain Phoenix at 6:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Monday, Oak Hill lost to Mount Abram on the road by a 78-60 margin. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Roadrunners are ranked 13th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Spruce Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Lake Region by a score of 67-54 on Saturday.

Spruce Mountain pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.2 points. As for Oak Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
