Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Lincoln's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Lincoln saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with a 70-60 victory over the San Fernando Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for Lincoln.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gavin Reyes, who posted 16 points. That's the most points Reyes has posted since back in December of 2023. Victor Marin was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Lincoln has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for San Fernando, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Lincoln won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Panorama at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Panorama is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season. As for San Fernando, they and East Valley will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. East Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something San Fernando surely won't give up without a fight.
