Basketball Recap: Worthington Takes a Loss

Worthington was the 87-58 winner over Pipestone when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Worthington Trojans came up short against the Pipestone Arrows on Thursday, falling 68-48.

Worthington has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points over those games. Pipestone's victory bumped their record up to 10-15.

Looking ahead, Worthington will take on Mankato West at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pipestone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
