Volleyball Recap: Coldwater Beats Wapakoneta for Their Third Straight Victory

Coldwater had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wapakoneta Redskins. That's more bragging rights for the Cavaliers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Coldwater was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-5, 25-12.

Coldwater found their leader in sophomore Brylee Knapke, who had seven assists and five aces.

Coldwater was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Coldwater's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Wapakoneta, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coldwater will welcome St. John's at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wapakoneta, they will host Ottawa-Glandorf at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
