Soccer Game Preview: Dothan vs. Auburn

Dothan hasn't had much luck against Auburn recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Dothan will head out to square off against Auburn at 5:00 p.m. Dothan's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Dothan is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Daphne, who was ranked 19th at the time (Dothan was ranked 21st). Dothan won by a goal and slipped past Daphne 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Dothan were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Auburn unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They and St. Anne-Pacelli finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Auburn's first draw of the season.

Dothan's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1. With that draw, Auburn's record moves to 10-2-1.
