Basketball Recap: Central Fellowship Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Three

Central Fellowship Christian Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 72-59 win over the Brentwood War Eagles on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Lancers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Central Fellowship Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zaiden Nelson led the charge by putting up 21 points. That's the most points Nelson has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaheem Barbosa, who put up 21 points.

Despite the loss, Brentwood still got an impressive performance from Tristan Robinson, who had 23 points. Another player making a difference was Baylor Cobb, who scored eight points.
