Buckeye and Holy Name are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Bucks will be playing at home against the Green Wave at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Buckeye is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Buckeye lost 9-3 to Highland on Thursday. The match marked the Bucks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Buckeye saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Faith Shaw, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Kelsey Metter was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday Holy Name's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin.

Aubrey Stephens was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Garlow, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Holy Name lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Buckeye's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Holy Name, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
