Basketball Game Preview: Caverna Colonels vs. Bardstown Tigers

The Caverna Colonels will challenge the Bardstown Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Caverna has given up an average of 57 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Last Friday, Caverna came up short against Green County and fell 64-53. While losing is never fun, the Colonels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Dragons are ranked 17th).

Bethlehem typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Bardstown proved too difficult a challenge. They took down the Eagles/Banshees 67-52. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Eagles/Banshees: they've now won three in a row.

Caverna's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Bardstown, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.
