Basketball Recap: Northeast Nodaway Find Success

Northeast Nodaway took a 20-point defeat the last time they faced off against Stanberry, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Northeast Nodaway Blue Jays had just enough and edged the Stanberry Bulldogs out 45-42. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-36 back in December of 2024.

Northeast Nodaway has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Stanberry, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-11 record.

Northeast Nodaway will face off against Union Star at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stanberry, they will be taking part in a tournament against King City at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
