Abby DelFavero made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Cameron Fraher was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Annabella D'Arrigo also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Jordan-Elbridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Central Square lost 16-3 to Fulton on Tuesday.
Maddie Greismeyer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Payton St.Clair was another key player, earning one run and two stolen bases.
Central Square's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Jordan-Elbridge, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Central Square's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Jordan-Elbridge has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .435.
