Volleyball Game Preview: North Mecklenburg Vikings vs. Bradford Prep Bears

The North Mecklenburg Vikings will head out to take on the Bradford Prep Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

North Mecklenburg lost 3-0 to East Mecklenburg on Friday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Bradford Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Metrolina Christian Academy, falling 3-0.

While Bradford Prep was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 25-9.

North Mecklenburg's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Bradford Prep, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything went North Mecklenburg's way against Bradford Prep in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, as North Mecklenburg made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
