Baseball Recap: Spring Creek Gators vs. Eastern Wayne Warriors
Spring Creek hadn't beaten Eastern Wayne on the road since April 13, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Gators blew past the Warriors 15-4. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by 11 runs or more this season.
Braden Bell made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He is becoming a predictor of Spring Creek's success: when he allows at most two hits the team is 3-1 (and 1-5 when he doesn't). Bell was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-5.
In other batting news, Landon Hines was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
