Leo lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Columbia City, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Lions put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 30-7 victory on Friday. Considering the Lions have won four matchups by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Leo pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.8 points on average over those games. As for Columbia City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Coming up, Leo is taking a road trip to take on DeKalb at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Barons' defense has only allowed 12.1 points per game this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Columbia City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Norwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.38 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
