Wakefield Memorial had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They put the hurt on the Wilmington Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wakefield Memorial took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15, 25-15.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wakefield Memorial to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cara Carangelo, who had five digs and five aces. Carangelo is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Carangelo wasn't the only good servers: Wakefield Memorial was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. The Warriors are 14-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Wakefield Memorial's record is now 16-4. As for Wilmington, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.

As of now, neither Wakefield Memorial nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
