Basketball Recap: Boone County Comes Up Short

Boone County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 78-63 fall against the Pendleton County Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 51-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2025.

Boone County's loss dropped their record down to 6-19-1. As for Pendleton County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boone County will challenge Portland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pendleton County, they will face off against Mason County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
