Valley Lutheran extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They came out on top against the Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers by a score of 27-20. This was payback for the Chargers, who suffered a 35-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Nouvel Catholic Central fell to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Nouvel Catholic Central's loss came despite strong showings from Owen Vance and Sean Foley. Vance rushed for 90 yards and one TD, while Foley picked up 106 receiving yards and one score. Foley showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 50 yards. Parker Kingsbury also helped out with an impressive 91 receiving yards.

Coming up, Valley Lutheran will face off against Hemlock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nouvel Catholic Central, they will be playing at home against Michigan Lutheran Seminary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
