Basketball Recap: Montgomery County Extends Winning Streak to Three

Montgomery County extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Tyce Jarvis. The Montgomery County Indians came out on top against the Pendleton County Wildcats by a score of 54-46 on Tuesday thanks in part to Jarvis, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Luke Fawns was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Montgomery County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Pendleton County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Montgomery County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 73-47 defeat against George Rogers Clark on the 16th. As for Pendleton County, they will venture away from home to face off against Nicholas County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
