Football Recap: Hull-Daisetta Bobcats vs. West Hardin Oilers
Hull-Daisetta lost against West Hardin back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats came up short against the Oilers, falling 34-14. On the bright side, the 14- point performance marked the Bobcats' highest-scoring matchup to date.
A big part of West Hardin's victory came down to the chemistry between Marcus Hashaw and his top target Dmarques Guillory. Hashaw rushed for 43 yards and two scores while Guillory picked up 126 receiving yards and one touchdown. Hashaw didn't just play on offense: he also made one tackle and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned for a touchdown.
Hull-Daisetta's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Hardin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
