After only two runs in their last matchup, Mid Valley made sure to put some runs up on the board against Holy Cross on Monday. The Spartans blew past the Crusaders 11-1. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.
Nick Mills was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
