Basketball Recap: Hope Takes a Loss

Hope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Camden Fairview Cardinals, falling 70-27. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 66-35 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Camden Fairview, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Hope will venture away from home to take on De Queen at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Camden Fairview, they will square off against Arkadelphia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden Fairview knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Arkadelphia likes a good challenge.
