Arab waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Etowah Blue Devils a 9-0 shutout. The Knights' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four games.

Their offense was hitting Etowah from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Madison Walmsley led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Arab's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Etowah, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arab will venture away from home to square off against Guntersville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Etowah, they are taking a road trip to challenge New Hope at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
