Volleyball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Victory Christian Academy lost against Calumet Christian on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Patriots.

Victory Christian Academy's offense was headlined by Elle Thomae and Violet Stucky, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Ava Buckland and her six assists. Finally, Thomae was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Victory Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9-1. As for Calumet Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-4 record this season.
