Howell North faced St. Dominic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Knights put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won seven games in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 27-25, 25-22.

Josh Windsor paced Howell North's offense, picking up 13 kills. Windsor got some help from Luke Hollinger and his 34 assists. Danny Shi and Noah Rowland kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Howell North's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. As for St. Dominic, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-9.
