Recap: Hancock Central Bulldogs vs. Johnson County Trojans        
        
		
            
 The Hancock Central Bulldogs waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with two straight wins  but they left with three. They took down Johnson County 58-43. That's another feather in the cap for Hancock Central, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hancock Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Karter Harper, who  scored seven points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals. Harper is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Josiah Ingram, who  scored eight points along with five  rebounds and two  steals.
 Despite the loss, Johnson County still got an impressive performance from   Javaris Duckworth, who  scored 13 points along with three  steals. Duckworth continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Xavier Wright, who  scored ten points along with seven  rebounds.
 Johnson County  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only three  assists. That's the fewest  assists they've managed all season.
 Hancock Central's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 4-7. As for Johnson County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hancock Central will  face off against Georgia Military College at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Georgia Military College is coming into the  match on a four-game losing streak. Johnson County on the road again  on Friday and play against Wilkinson County at 8:30  p.m.  on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Georgia (Wilkinson County is ranked 487th, while Johnson County is ranked 480th).
