Basketball Recap: Homer's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Homer's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 55-49 W over the North Caddo Titans. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Pelicans considering their 28-point performance the contest before.

Homer moved to 12-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for North Caddo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homer will host Magnolia School of Excellence at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Caddo, they will welcome Calvary Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Baptist Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something North Caddo surely won't give up without a fight.
