After a string of three wins, Lyons's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Lyons' loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

Lyons didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Sandburg on the 10th. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Berwyn/Cicero Morton on the 10th.
