Peyton Holder posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
