Volleyball Recap: Milford Comes Up Short

Milford lost against Clarkston back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mavericks fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 2-1.

Lexa Pierson paced Milford's offense, picking up 11 kills. Pierson got some help from Delaney Heflin and her 21 assists. Finally, Brynlei Gunn kept Milford's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 22-6-1. As for Clarkston, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

Milford has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Novi on the 11th. As for Clarkston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Walled Lake Northern on the 11th.
