Volleyball Recap: Peyton Gets the Win + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Genoa-Hugo/Karval, Peyton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders by a score of 3-1. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Highlanders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17.

Samantha Nickell paced Peyton's offense, picking up 15 kills. Nickell got some help from Cassidy Miller and her 20 assists. Brynlee Ray controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-6. As for Thomas MacLaren School, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Peyton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Rye on the 19th. As for Thomas MacLaren School, they are taking a road trip to challenge Palmer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
