Preview: El Dorado Wildcats vs. Clearwater Indians        
        
		
            
 El Dorado has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  square off against the Clearwater Indians at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. El Dorado has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
 El Dorado pushed their score all the way to 63 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory  and fell  64-63 to Pratt. While losing is never fun, El Dorado can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 220th, while Pratt is ranked 84th).
 Despite their  defeat, El Dorado saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Logan Garner, who  scored 20 points, was perhaps the best of all. Garner scored a full 31.7% of El Dorado's points, the third time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  Dillon Scott was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points.
 Meanwhile, Clearwater's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. The  matchup between Clearwater and Arkansas City wasn't particularly close, with Clearwater falling  62-45.
 El Dorado's loss was  their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which  bumped their record down to 1-2. As for Clearwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 El Dorado was able to grind out a solid  win over Clearwater in their previous matchup  back in February, winning  45-33. Does  El Dorado have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clearwater turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
