Basketball Recap: Pungo Christian Academy Raiders vs. Ridgecroft Rams
Pungo Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 80-69 to the Ridgecroft Rams. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-66 back in January.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marshall Ricks, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. Ricks' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Michael Cripe, who went 5 of 9 en route to 19 points.
It was another big night for Antron Gray, who dropped a triple-double on 25 points, ten assists, and 12 steals for Ridgecroft. The team also got some help courtesy of Javion Leary, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Pungo Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Ridgecroft, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
