Volleyball Recap: Minster Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

St. John came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Minster, but Lauren Tyler wouldn't allow it. The Wildcats blew past the Bluejays 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Tyler, who had nine digs, eight aces, and one block. Tyler is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

Minster not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept St. John's between 15 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 25-15.

Minster's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for St. John's, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Minster will square off against Anna at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. John's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lima Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
