Soccer Game Preview: Yellow Springs vs. Franklin Monroe

The Yellow Springs Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Franklin Monroe Jets at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Yellow Springs managed to keep up with Legacy Christian Academy until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bulldogs came up short against the Knights, falling 5-2.

Meanwhile, neither Franklin Monroe nor Dixie could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Yellow Springs' loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-4-1. Franklin Monroe's draw makes their record 2-4-2 this season.

Everything went Yellow Springs' way against Franklin Monroe in their previous matchup back in October of 2019, as Yellow Springs made off with a 7-0 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Jets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
