It was a good run, but Western Michigan Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 12-4 to the Ludington Orioles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered against the Orioles since April 18, 2017.

Western Michigan Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Maat, who went 2-for-4 with one triple.

Western Michigan Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Ludington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-13 record this season.

Western Michigan Christian will take on Tri-Unity Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Ludington, they will face off against Cadillac at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Orioles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
