Soccer Game Preview: Hillside vs. Chapel Hill + How To Watch

Hillside is 0-10 against Chapel Hill since September of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Hornets will host the Tigers at 6:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Hillside didn't have quite enough to beat Riverside-Durham and fell 3-2. While losing is never fun, Hillside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 364th, while Riverside-Durham are ranked 121st).

Jose Valadez Ramirez and Michael Blanco scored both of Hillside's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Chapel Hill took on East Chapel Hill on Thursday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Hillside's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Chapel Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Hillside suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Chapel Hill in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
