Basketball Recap: Hardin-Central Takes a Loss

Hardin-Central was the 52-46 winner over Winston when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hardin-Central Bulldogs took a 44-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winston Red Birds on Tuesday.

Hardin-Central's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Winston, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Hardin-Central will be playing at home against Orrick at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hardin-Central is facing Orrick at the right time seeing as Orrick is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Winston, they are taking a road trip to face off against Breckenridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
