Basketball Recap: Prosser Takes a Loss

Prosser was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lake View Wildcats. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Leading Lake View to victory were Dyami Rolon and Daniel Loza. Rolon dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards, while Loza went 7 for 11 en route to 19 points. Those 21 points gave Rolon a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Betancourt, who posted eight points.

Prosser's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Lake View, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-8.

Prosser will challenge Chicago Mathematics & Science at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake View, they will take on Amundsen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Amundsen will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Lake View surely won't give up without a fight.
