Basketball Recap: Butternut Homeschoolers Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Victory

Butternut HomeSchoolers had won seven straight games and Glenjamin Dellegenaramos did his part to make it eight on Thursday. Butternut HomeSchoolers enjoyed a cozy 91-76 victory over the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars thanks in part to Dellegenaramos, who made all 10 shots he took from beyond the arc racking up 56 points along with 55 rebounds and 25 blocks. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Butternut HomeSchoolers' points.

Quandale Dingle was another key player, shooting 4-for-4 from downtown and dropping a double-double with 20 points and 16 boards. His big performance that afternoon made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

Butternut HomeSchoolers' win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Butternut HomeSchoolers will be playing at home against Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Butternut HomeSchoolers will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Friends at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
