Ava Waite was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That stolen base was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi Davis, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt didn't have quite enough to beat Barberton on Wednesday and fell 5-4.

Roosevelt dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Cuyahoga Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
