There's no place like home for Fayette County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Gordo Green Wave 47-15 on Thursday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Fayette County's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-6. As for Gordo, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Fayette County Tigers challenge the Hackleburg Panthers at 12:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Gordo, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Carbon Hill at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
