Underclassman Kerin Gardner came into Wednesday's matchup looking to prove herself and that's exactly what she did. She wasn't messing around on Wednesday, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over 6.1 innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her third straight with one or fewer earned runs.
