Softball Recap: Caddo Mills Takes Down North Lamar in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Caddo Mills had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the North Lamar Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-1 on Wednesday.

Caddo Mills is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-14-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for North Lamar, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-12-1.

Coming up, Caddo Mills will face off against Carthage at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Foxes surely won't give up without a fight. North Lamar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
