Soccer Recap: Menomonee Falls Takes a Loss

Menomonee Falls came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-0 to the Brookfield East Spartans. While losing is never fun, Menomonee Falls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Brookfield East are ranked second).

Menomonee Falls has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-2 record this season. As for Brookfield East, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0-2.

Looking ahead, Menomonee Falls will square off against Oak Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brookfield East, they will challenge Waukesha West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
