Recap: Pleasant Grove Vikings vs. American Fork Cavemen
The Pleasant Grove Vikings had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 56-48 win over American Fork on Tuesday. The victory was just what Pleasant Grove needed coming off of a 73-21 defeat in their prior contest.
Pleasant Grove's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tabi Clark, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Cash Connors was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Pleasant Grove's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for American Fork, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Pleasant Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-36 defeat vs. Westlake on the 9th. American Fork has also already played their next match, a 65-45 loss against Lone Peak on the 9th.
