            After only two  runs in their last  match, Melbourne Central Catholic made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Space Coast  on Thursday. The Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers put the hurt on the Space Coast Vipers with a sharp  11-2 win. The Hustlers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vipers, too.

The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts. At the plate,  Carroll  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while  Gonnella  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Collin O'Connell was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
The  victory made it two in a row for Melbourne Central Catholic and  bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Space Coast, they now  have a losing record of 1-2.
 Coming up, Melbourne Central Catholic will face off against Heritage at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Space Coast, they will square off against Merritt Island Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
